For Archana Kochhar, fashion has always been more than clothing ,it is a platform for representation, dignity, and change. Long before inclusivity became a global conversation, she used her runway to challenge conventional standards of beauty and visibility.
One of her most meaningful initiatives was her support for trans women inclusion in fashion. At Bombay Times Fashion Week, Archana Kochhar dedicated her showcase to Trans Women’s Rights and Inclusion, creating a space where trans women could walk the runway with pride and confidence. The showcase celebrated individuality and highlighted the importance of giving historically marginalized communities access to platforms that have traditionally excluded them. The message was simple yet powerful: fashion is not defined by gender, sexuality, or societal labels,it belongs to everyone.
Her commitment to inclusivity has extended beyond the transgender community, with initiatives supporting acid attack survivors and women with disabilities, reinforcing her belief that beauty exists in every form and every story. Through her work, Archana Kochhar continues to prove that fashion can be a force for empowerment, representation, and social change.
