Archana Kochhar is a celebrated Indian fashion designer known for her distinctive fusion of traditional Indian craftsmanship and contemporary design. With over three decades in the industry, her work reflects a deep commitment to preserving heritage textiles while presenting them through modern, globally relevant silhouettes.
Her collections have been showcased on prestigious international platforms including New York Fashion Week, where she has presented Indian textiles and craft traditions to a global audience.
She has also been appointed as the official designer of Miss World twice , designing ensembles for 108 contestants and representing Indian designs on the global stage. Archana Kochhar’s creations have been worn by celebrated personalities including Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bipasha Basu, Nargis Fakhri, and Vijender Singh, among others.
Beyond fashion, she actively supports social and cultural initiatives, working with government and artisan communities to promote Indian crafts, sustainable textiles, and the “Make in India” movement using fashion as a platform to celebrate culture and empower traditional artisans
